Piccolo Giunco

The Piccolo Giunco is a hard-textured, half-cooked, half-matured cheese, exclusively produced from very fresh sheep's milk coming from the Sardinian inland's pastures. It has a flavour which is on the sweet side that, growing more mature, takes on a firmer character.

The whole cheeses are produced in two types of weights, one of 0,8 kg and the other of about 1,7 kg. The rind is distinguished by the signs of maturing in small rush baskets. It is perfect as table cheese, thanks to the smaller size ideal to accompany your trips or to become a tasty souvenir from Sardinia.
