Piccolo Giunco

Piccolo Giunco is an excellent pecorino table cheese, made using only fresh sheep’s milk from pastures of Sardinia’s countryside.
It has a flavour which tends to be sweet, but as it matures it becomes stronger with aromas and hints of Mediterranean plants.
The wheels are produced in two types in terms of weight (0.8 kg and about 1.6 kg). Its maturing requires a period from 20 days to 6 months for the mild version, over 6 months for the mature one. It is a perfect table cheese and the small size of the wheels make it an ideal souvenir of Sardinia. It is perfect when served with lemon jam and a glass of Bovale wine.
